Boa Constrictor
Our snake’s name is Shiva-shesha. She is a Colombian boa. She is about nine months old and eats a mouse every week. Shiva-shesha likes to hide in a burrow in sawdust. Shiva-shesha will grow to be ten feet long. Shiva is a Hindu god. And Shesha is also from Hinduism. He is the god of the snakes which protects the god Vishnu.
