Salem Witch Trials

-Salem with Trials mostly happened during 1692

- This occurred in the Salem, Massachusetts

- Many People were being accused of being witches because they wore dark colored clothes, because they were different, they were woman that owned property and women weren't usually supposed to own property, and religion, and just becuase they were different.

- Each person that was accused of being a witch had a trial or was brought to court

- People who were accused of being witches were hanged in gallows, tortured to death. When they tortured to death people placed stones weights on his body. People were prisoners, they chained, some people were crushed to death, and some were even burned to death.

- Men and women were both accused of being witches

- Between June and September in the Salem Witch Trial's 14 women and 5 men were killed. I was tortured to death.

- Since 1990 more than 2,000 Cases of Witchcraft related to violence, which included 577 killings. Salem Witch Trials
