History of Glasses

Who was the inventor of glasses? Nobody actually knows for sure who invented glasses, but Historians believe that a skilled worker put two lens inside two wooden frames each with a handle. The skilled worker put the handles together to form glasses.

Approximately 1000 A.D., Alhazen, an Arabian scientist, noticed how the rays of light bent when they passed through a glass with water. He also noticed that objects looked bigger through a round crystal lens. Another scientist Roger Bacon discovered that a curved crystal or glass made words look better and bigger.
