Park Attraction
During the Christmas Season people have spotted moose, penguins, deer, polar bear, and even purple dinosaurs.  As part of the holiday season, Hubbard Park is grandly decorated with millions of white lights.  Many brightly lit animals come to visit during this time.

The spring house was built as shelter for the summer camp program.
The waterfall is a wonderful attraction any time of the year.

Located in the park are sandstone slabs containing geniune dinosaur fossil footprints.  The footprints were originally found on Yale Avenue in Meriden and transferred to Hubbard Park in 1953.

The Daffodil festival begins the city's spring celebration.  Each year during the last weekend of April the residents gather to celebrate and have fun.  The park is decorated with millions of yellow daffodils. Civic organizations gather to host food booths for the visitors who are hungry.  Rides and amusements are available for the guests.

Meriden residents spend many summer evenings enjoying local musical groups in the James Barry band shell.
