A buried treasure. But what kind of treasure? Some scientists happen to think that Francis Bacon's plays are buried there. They say that Shakespeare wasn't intelligent enough to write his plays, but Bacon was. So that means that all of these years, when we thought Shakespeare was this mega-smart genius, and here he didn't even write his plays! Wow! Is that all people think is buried under the tons of dirt and sand? NOW WAY! Other scientists have other hypothisis. Some think the famous Captain Kidd has his treasure buried there. Or, the Maya Indians treasure. Or this. Or that. Or, what? If you're asking if there is some way to find the treasure, fat chance. Several people have lost there life to this treasure. People say that there is a treasure buried deep below the surface of Oak Island. People just dig and dig for years and years under all those tons of sand and dirt and all they find is.....water? OK, that's just going a bit toooo far. I mean, people dig their hearts out, only to get flooded out by tunnels coming in from the near ocean! Others say either Captain Kidd's treasure or Maya's treasure.
