What is the Megamouth’s Diet?

The Megamouth Shark is a filter feeder. It uses its giant mouth to catch food, and filter the water using bristles. The Megamouth’s diet contains plankton, krill, and small fish. During the day it stays at the bottom of the ocean at about 200m deep. At night it follows the food to the surface. The Megamouth may lure krill into it’s huge mouth with luminous organs around it’s lips. The Megamouth has very unique feeding habits.
