NATIONAL AVIATION DAY became a holiday in 1939. National Aviation Day celebrates all the inventions that were made in US history. To get NATIONAL AVIATION DAY Congress and the President had to pass a proclamation saying that this holiday could exist. A wider purpose for this holiday was to honor all the flying pioneers, heros, their famous inventions, and their discoveries. That is why we celebrate NATIONAL AVIATION DAY!!!!!!!!!!
