Telephone

   In 1876 Alexander Bell invented the telephone.  The idea was first discovered in the 1940's at the Bell laboratories in the US.  Except the technology wasn't released for thirty years later.  The telephone is used by wires that are connected by all sorts of telephones.  Thats why you see all those wires and poles out on the streets.  We now have better telephones then we did back then.  We also have cell phones and we're very thankful for those.
