Later after the French and Indian War, the British government decided to gather more money from the colonies. The colonies had more taxes without any representation in Britain. This eventually got to the subject of the Boston Tea Party.   And to get revenge on the colonist British government created the Intolerable Acts also known as the Coercive Acts.

later The Boston Port Bill was created this bill closed the port of Boston for all of the colonists until the colonists paid for the tea they damaged.

after that The Administration of Justice Act was made this meant that British officials could not be tried in provincial courts for death crimes.  Instead they would be extradited back to Britain and then be thrilled there. So basically they could do what ever they wanted, because no justice would be served while they were in the colonies.

The Administration of Justice Act canceled the charter of the colonies, this gave the British Government full control of the town meetings, and taking away control from the colonist.

after that The Quebec Act was created made the Canadian borders bigger to cut off the western colonies of Conn. Mass. and Va.
