On her thirteenth birthday Anne Frank got a diary.  It was the best present she had ever gotten.  Her diary was plaid and it had red and white on the cover.  In her diary she wrote the tragic life she lived in World War II.  Her diary was found and published in 1947 and became a play called, "Anne Frank's Diary" .  Anne called her diary kitty.Her diary was the best seller after the bible.
