The Real Civil War

  The Civil War started in 1861 and lasted until 1865. The war ended when General Robert E. Lee surrendered to Union General Ulysses S. Grant at Appomattox Court House. Other Confederate armies surrendered soon after The Civil war is only one name for this dramatic war that almost tore our nation apart, the other most famous names are : War Between The States and War Of Secession. The Civil War is a very   popular reason for a lot of novels, plays, history books, poems, songs, paintings, sculptors, movies, and television shows.
