The Giant Sequoia Trees have been standing since the time of Christ, and they still stand today. But today there are fewer Sequoias. By the time the Ice Age came the
Sequoias were gone from most of the Nothern Hemisphere. Mountain ranges became too cold for the giant trees to survive. Now there are very few forests left with these Sequoias. Today the only Sequoia
species left are Giant Sequoias in the Sierra Nevada’s in central California.
