TRY THIS EXPERIMENT
To see how an eagle flies, get a piece of paper and hold it at
your chin. Blow over the strip of paper.
The paper should fly up into the air. This demonstrates how
air blowing above the wing can help an eagle fly. Blow air faster
and the paper should go higher. The faster the air goes over the
paper (or wing) the more it goes up. This is called the lift.
When the amount of lift is more that the weight of the eagle, the bird
will float up into the air.
