There are a lot of birds in the rainforest. Some of them are able to talk if you teach them, some of them aren't that smart. Anyways, let me tell you about a few of them.
Macaw
The macaw is an amazing bird. It lives in South America, Central America, and Mexico rainforests. It eats fruit that grows there. The fruits it eats are: melons,berries,and mostly any kind.It also eats nuts and seeds.The Macaw is the largest kind of parrot.It measures 12 to 39 inches. That is pretty big for a bird. Parrot
There are many kinds of Parrots in many kinds of rainforests. I am going to tell you about the original one. This Parrot lives in Australia. It has a thick beak and a square tail. That, in my opinion, is wierd. They eat the same things as the Macaw but also eat nectar and pollen. This Parrot is very colorful, full of vibrant colors.
Lorikeet
The Lorikeet is a kind of parrot. It lives in Australia and has a red and orange bill! It is tye-dye. This Parrot is also very colorful, like the others.This Parrot, and all Parrots, lay round, white eggs. They lay them in holes of trees.
Owl Parrot
The Owl Parrot is very unusual. It cannot fly! It looks like an owl, but is a parrot. It lives in New Zealand rainforests.
Lories
The Lories lives in New Zealand also. They have furry, rough tongues, used to eat nectar and pollen.
