| 3. Score your paper. Scoring is a technique using an x-acto blade. You run the blade of the x-acto knife through the paper or cardboard you are using. Only cut about half way through, so you are able to fold it on the scored area. This technique may need the help of an adult. | |

Layering is another technique. Layer pieces of paper on top of each other
to create a different sort of effect to your sculpture.
Start by taking larger pieces of paper and putting one on top of each other, getting smaller with the size of paper. This is a good, easy technique that allows you to make different three-dimensional designs. |
