Seth was the son of Geb and Nut. He was the brother of Isis, Neptheys, and Osiris. He later married Tefnut. Seth was the Lord of Upper Egypt. He spoke in terms of reverence as the god of windstorms. Seth was an enemy of Horus. In many battles with him, he had turned into a hippopotamus. He protected Ra from Horus’s dangerous serpent, Apep.
