Geb was thought to be the god of the Earth. He was known as "the great cackler". He was represented as a goose. People thought he was to be the third king of the Earth. The royal throne of Egypt was called "the throne of Geb" in his honor. He had a cult that spread all over Egypt. His twin brother was Nut. His children were Osiris, Seth, and Nephthys.
