Q: Why are the same god’s or goddess’s names spelled differently?

A: The same gods were known in many different countries in ancient time. Some of the countries may have had few or even no vowels. Therefore when translated to English, they are spelled differently because there is no English word for that type of spelling.

Q: Did the Egyptians have any alphabet?

A: No, unlike the English language, the Egyptians used "hieroglyphics" or symbols to represent a story or sentence. There were no organized symbols which could form words as we know them.

Q: Why were the same myths sometimes explained differently?

A: Unlike Greek myths, that were simple basic stories, Egyptian myths were explained with hieroglyphics and are still argued as to what they mean.
