To start your Macintosh (for older versions) press the key that is on the far top right side, that looks like a sideways triangle. For iMac users press the button that is on the far right side. When your Mac starts you will see a box that says welcome to Mac OS 9,8.1, or etc. You will also see a bar being filled. That means its loading. Then you will see icons or buttons. To open an icon double click your mouse on an icon it will open. If you want to know more about your computer click on the apple and go to about this computer. It will give you info. on your computer.
