Sir Arthur Conan Doyle created Sherlock Holmes, the
most famous detective in history. The first story he in appeared was A
Study in Scarlet. Dr. John H. Watson, his best friend, narrated his
exploits. Sherlock Holmes was always able to outsmart his archenemy,
Professor Moriarty, but could never catch him. He was a super detective
in 4 novels, 56 stories and 7 films, and truly was the most famous detective
in history.
