1. Always fasten your seatbelt, even if it's a short trip, remember ANYTHING could happen!
2. Never sit in the back, unless you have seats with seatbelts and you are using them.
3. Unless you are 13 years or older do not sit in the front even if there are no air bags.
4. Don't let your parents run yellow and (especially) red lights. Remind them to drive safely.
5. Make sure, if your going on long trips, to get your parents to take the car to an auto shop for a car "check-up."
6. Don't leave precious items in the car even when you plan to be only a short distance away from the car.
7. Before you drive your car make sure it has enough fuel to drive through the distance of your trip.
8. Don't let any living thing stay in the car alone, if it's a child they could be kidnapped and animals could actually die of thirst if it is a hot day.
9. Don't distract people when they're driving a car.
10. Of course, remember always be SAFE!
