In Zimbabwe there are 11,163,160 people. There are many ethnic groups, religions, and languages. The ethnic groups are African 98%, white 1%, and mixed and Asians 1%. The Religions are syncretic which are part Christian and part indigenous beliefs 50%, Christian 25%, indigenous beliefs 24%, Muslim and other 1%. The Languages are English, Shona, and numerous but minor tribal dialects. The literacy rate is 85%. Ages 15 and over can read and write in English.
In Zimbabwe there are many Industries. They mining, they mine coal,clay, numerous metallic, and nonmetallic ores. They also have copper, steel, nickel, tin, wood products, cement, chemicals, fertilizer, clothing and footwear, foodstuffs, beverages. The Agriculture products are corn, cotton, tobacco, wheat, coffe, sugarcane, peanuts, cattle, goats, and pigs. They export to South Africa 12%, UK 11%, Germany 8%, Japan 6%, and US 6%. They export tobacco, gold, ferroalloys, cotton. Zimbabwe get imports from South Africa 37%, UK 7%, and US 6%. They get machinery and transport equipment 39%, other manufactuers 18%, chemicals 15%, and fuel 10%.
In Zimbabwe they run it in a parlimentary democacy. The capital is Harare. There are 8 provinces and 2 cities. They are Bulawayo, and Harare they are the cities. The provinces are Manicland, Mashonaland Central, Mashonaland West, Masvingo, Matabeleland North, Matabeleland South, and Midlands. They got there indepence on April 18,1980 from the UK. there law system is a mixture of Roman-Dutch and English common law. Just like in America they have a Supreme Court.
