Geography

The country Nigeria is on the western side of Africa. It Bourders the gulf of Guinea. The countriesa that suround it are Benin, Cameroon, Chad, Niger. There is about 530 miles (853 km) of coastlines. Nigeria is slightly more that 2 Callifornas.

People

In Nigeria there are many people and a lot of people. There are 113,828,587 people in Nigeria. There 8 diffrent ethnic groups. They are Mausa, Fulani, Yoruba, Ibo, Ijaw, Kanuri, Ibibio, and Tiv. There are only 3 groups of Religions. They are Muslim wich is half of the population, 40% is Christian, and 10% are indigenous beliefs. The literacy rate there is 57.1%.

Economy

In Nigeria they export many things. They exports petroleum, and petroleum products, cocoa, rubber. The Agriculture products are coca, peanuts, plam oil, corn, rice, sorghum' millet' cassava,yams,rubber,cattle,sheep, goats, pigs, timber, fish. They mostly export to the US. They also export to Spain, Italy, and France.

Government

In Nigeria the goverment runs in a republican form. The capital there is Abuja. There are 30 states and 1 territory. The territory is the capital Abuja. The states are Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Benue, Borno, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Enugu, Imo, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos, Niger, Ogum, Ondo, Osum, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe.
