Geography
Kenya is in the eastern part of Africa. Many other countries surround it. These countries are Ethiopia, Somalia, Sudan, Tanziania, and Uganda. The total land area of Kenya is 582,656 sq. km. The total amount of water there is is 13,400 sq. km.
People
The estimated population of Kenya is about 28,808,658. There are a lot of ethnic groups. 22% of the people in Kenya is KiiKuyu, 14 are Luhya, 13% are Luo, 11% are Kamba, 6% are Meru, and 15% are non-African. The people in Kenya have many religions. 38% of the people are Protestant, 28% are Roman Catholic, 7% are Muslim, 26 are inigenous. The litercy rate is 78.1%. MOst people who are over age 15 can read and write.
Economy
In Kenya there are only small industries. Most industries make plastic,furiture,batteries,textiles,soap,cigarettes,flour. The Kenyas have many agricultural products like cofffe, tea, corn, wheat, sugercane, vegetables, dairy products, and eggs. The country exports 2 millons dollars of goods. They import 3.05 million dollars worth of goods.
Government
The Capital of Kenya is Nairobi. The form of government in Kenya is republic. THe republican form of government is the same as ours. It has a executive branch, a legislative branc, and a judicial branch. Now the head of the Kenya is the Ambassador Samel K. CHEMAL. In Kenya there are 8 provinces. They are the Central, Coast, Eastern, Nairobi, North Eastern, Rift Valley, and Wester provinces.'
