Welcome to the Eye Site,  your one stop source of information about eyes.  Whether you just want to know basic information about the eye, or if you want to go deeper and learn how everything works, this is the site for you!  We hope that you have as much fun visiting this site as we had making it!

Here are the five main categories that we divided our page into:

The Eye - this is a good page to get a very general look at the eye.  This page will help you understand the eye and it's basic functions, including blinking, crying and tears, a basic description of how the eye allows us to see, and how we perceive color.

Anatomy - here's where we go into the different parts of the eye, both in the outside and in the inside.  There are many useful pictures that help to illustrate the parts and their locations.

Ailments, Symptoms, and Cures - if you want to know what can go wrong within the eye, this page will help you out.  It includes helpful discussions of some of the most common diseases along with their treatments.  Is also covers common vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism, and ways to correct them.

Games and Activities - in this part we have some fun activities to stimulate your brain.  You can entertain yourself with a fun blind spot test and look at mind boggling optical illusions and stereograms. Also there is a quiz to test yourself on your knowledge of the eye.  Take a look at how people with various vision problems see the same picture.

Message Boards - we have two message boards for interacting with others.  The general discussion board is for people to share their knowledge about eyes with each other.  This is a good place to ask and answer questions or carry on eye related dialogues.  The eye story board is for communicating personal stories about vision difficulties and experiences.  We hope that this board will help people understand that they are not alone with their vision problems.
