Atmosphere - layers  of  gas  around the earth / airy.

Cyclone - a  lightening  area  in  the  atmosphere,  in  which  winds  spiral  upward.

Eye - a  calm  part  in  the  storm.

Forecast - a  prediction  of  what  the  weather  will  be  like  for  the  next  few  days.

Hail - large,  roughly  spherical  ice  balls,  hail  occurs  only  with  thunderstorms. A  kind  of  precipitation.

Lightening - a  giant  spark  of  moving  electric  charges.

Meteorologist - a  person  who  studies  the  weather.

Rain - liquid  water drops,  the  drops  are  easy  to  see.

Storm Surge - a  violent  and  destructive  rush  of  sea  water.

Thunder - a  sound  caused  by  lightening.

Typhoon - a  destructive  storm  found  in  the  West  Indies.

Wind - the  motion  of  air  in  the  atmosphere.
