Horoscopes are also called birth charts
that are used to tell the future. On a chart, the sign tells you where the
planet is located and it also tells you your future. The horoscopes include all
of the planets. Astrologers think that the zodiac was made in ancient Egypt, and
adopted in 1000 B.C. by the
Babylonians. The sun used to be a
constellation when heavy rainfall occurred in Babylonia.
The constellation Aquarius is the result of the heavy rainfall.
The Ancient Greeks and Romans both studied astrology.
Roman names for the planets and zodiac signs are still used.
In the 1930ís, newspapers from England put horoscopes into their daily
papers. Soon columns were in
newspapers all over the world. Astrology
is now followed more than it was in years past.
"My sign here on earth is Gemini. My birthday is on June 20. What are you? Are you an air sign like me? Or an earth, water, fire..."
