The villein was usually a women who worked in a manor. Sometimes they worked in fields or grape vineyards, but most of the time they worked in or around the house doing chores. A women would usually do things like cook and clean. She may also work in the kitchens or milk cows. She would make bread and make the clothing for the entire Lord's family.
