Noblewomen were born into powerful families. Many Noblewomen however, had little power themselves. She could possibly inherit her husbands property but usually he controlled it. These women were legally in custody of her husband, who was chosen by her father or the king. Noblewomen were expected to have children and smoothly run the household for her husband. Many noblewomen were also expected to be good healers. They spent a lot of their time enjoying music, a tournament or being courted.
