Coats of Arms were a series of colors arranged in a certain pattern. These patterns decorated a knights shield, horse, and battle armor. These coats help tell the difference between all of the knights of the kingdom. Coats of arms were made by Heralds. Not only did they have to make the coat of arms they had to make sure no two coats could be the same. There are many different kinds of coats and they all vary in color and shape.
