Battle Equipment
Spear A spear was use for air combat. It was a long rod of wood or metal. It's top was a sharp piece of metal. The bottom part could be used for holding and throwing. The top part could have an ax or special designs that represented a meaning.
Sword A sword was a metal pole with the part you hold at the bottom and the top was a sharp piece. It was used for hand to hand combat. You could have a sword in one hand and a shield in the other. The whole thing was metal so it would not break, unlike the wooden spear that could be cut in half.
Helmet A helmet was like a shield but it was for the head. It was like a ball or half bowl. The knights used different types of helmets. They had jousting, guard, or combat helmets.
