Salt River Project Tour

As part of our Global Water Study and research for our Thinkquest Project, members of our team and a few additional students, were taken on an all day tour by our local water and power company. Salt River Project employee, Darrell Shepard, began the tour near a Central Arizona Project pumping station. The pumping stations pump water up over the mountains. From this point, gravity draws the water through canals into Phoenix.
