People were worried about the weather long before radio and television reported forcasts. Arizona's early pioneers learned to read nature's signs from their parents and friends and from years of experience.  When a  sleeps longer than usual, the weather will change. When chickens peck each other, it will the next day. The number of times a cricket chirps, determines what the will be. When  cry at night,t here will be rain. When the moon it will rain. The number of  predicts how many days it will rain. A wind from the will bring rain. If the palm of your hand it will rain. If a horse does not eat or is there will be a storm. After seeing lightning, the number of before you hear thunder tells you how close it is.
