BECOMING A PILOT

To become a pilot you have to learn the basic rules and by taking a solo flight. You must display commitment and discipline to succeed. The easiest way to become a pilot is to go to a civil flying school and get a private pilots licence (PPL). After you pass the solo flight, written and practical examinations, and a tough medical check-up you get the licence. You also need to know how to eject out of a airplane in an emergency.

Training to fly in the military is again an expensive business, where early lessons start out with light airecrafts. When you move up to other aircrafts you'll learn formation flying, aerobatics, gunnery, battle tactics, and weapons delivery.

As a spray pilot you have to fly really close to the ground spraying crops and waste of spray is not taken lightly. They also have to masters of precision.

Firefighters

Firefighters use airplanes for forest fires. Some planes land on planes to get refueled in mid-air and firefighters use lakes to refuel the water.

Test flying

Test flying is less dangerous today then of long ago because of computers. Test pilots need knowledge of engineering and aerobynamics, they also need to be good pilots. Also designers, engineers, and computer operators are also important for test flying.
