The future of airplanes is almost upon us. Many airplanes are coming and most would say they won't fly. Some have neat designs and some are futuristic.And some are just plain weird. But we are going to tell about some of these new airplanes. Boeing has a future airplane program. it is called phantom works. 4,000 of Boeings top scientists work on their separate projects. The scientists and engineers usually work in small groups to work with different situations. These include military aircraft and missels, space communication and business and commercial flight.

They are always trying to come up with better faster and sleeker designs. They develop, test and build present and future designs. Manufacturing process have made high-speed machining and automated fiber placement for producing large one piece structures than are larger and stronger than multi-piece structures as well as faster and cheaper to produce.An advanced avionics team is using commercial computer technology and processes to produce reusable avionics systems for military aircraft that cost less.
