There are many different kinds of Arabian horse breeds, such Polish Arabians, Purebred Arabian, Thoroughbred Arabian, and many others. The Arabian Thoroughbred is regarded to be the purest breed of horse in the world and the finest race horse. It is said that no other horse has such a great influence on so many other breeds. Different breeds are developed in different ways for example an Arabian crossed with a Native Mare is an Andalusian horse. In many cases stallions are held of higher importance than the mares yet the Bedouins said their mares were prized possessions. Arabs are considered to be a "hot blooded" breed.
