This Planet Really Rocks!

Acknowledgments

We would like to thank all of the people who have helped us as we were creating our website.

First of all, we would like to thank our principals, Mr. Brock, Mrs. Sarver, and Mrs. Smith for giving their permission for us to participate in the Thinkquest contest.

Next, we would like to say "thank you" to the Geology Department at Lamar University for letting us visit. They took time to teach us about rocks and minerals and to show us the university's collection. That was an experience that we will always remember.

We would also like to tell our parents how much we appreciate the time they spent going with us to Lamar and taking us to the Saturday Thinkquest meetings. Mrs. Bray, we really enjoyed the pizza that you bought for us.

We could have not worked on our project on the weekends, if our building custodian had not made special trips to the school to let us in. We want to say, "Mrs. Montalvo, we think you are special!"

Mrs. Eanes, our librian, helped us also. She let us borrow all of the books in the library on rocks and minerals for an extended period of time. She also let us use the digital camera so that we could take pictures of our rock samples. "Mrs. Eanes, you are the greatest!"

Last, but not least, "Mrs. Louviere and Mrs. Lowery, thank you for staying after school and coming on Saturdays to help us create our website. Thank you for helping us learn to use the internet to do research and for helping us to learn html so that we could write our pages. Also, we appreciate all the good snacks that you provided for us."
