| The Process How Did We Build This Website? Brainstorming: First of all our group had to decide on a topic. We thought about doing our website on summer camps, cooking, and other strange topics, before choosing dance. Researching: Our group went to our school's library and several public libraries looking up vast amounts of information on the different types and styles of dance. Summarizing/note taking: After we collected all of the information we thought we would need, we read it all and summarized and took notes on what we thought was important. Building the web: Using a program called Inspiration we created the web, or skeleton, of our website. WE did this because we believed that it would make it somewhat easier to sort our information out when it came time. Microsoft FrontPage Tutorial: To give us some idea of how to build a website, we all completed the FrontPage tutorial. This taught us all the basic things that a website needs to have to make it work. Creating the graphics: Since the beginning we all knew that we had wanted to create most of our graphics instead of using them from ClickArt or other such programs. To do this we used a program called Microsoft PhotoDraw. Adding the content: Using the notes we had taken before we created all the pages you see on the website today. The hardest part of this process was probably making sure we referenced all of the resources we used . Making the website beautiful: As you can see all of our pages are unique. With the help of PhotoDraw and lots of long hard nights we managed to create something different.
