to America in 1983 and is much. Brazil has a wide variety of folk music and
dance traditions, which shows African and Portuguese dance. A chorus or a

upgraded by new harmonies and the new sound of the bossa nova. Energetic dancers
perform the samba the lively beat of drums and an equally live singer. Samba can
be seen as danced by the brightly costumed crowds in the street at the carnival

Argentina The most important type of traditional music in Argentina is the folk and folk dance. The tango has become one of the most popular ballroom dances in Argentina and throughout the rest of the world. A dramatic ballroom dance for a couple, usually in slow 2/4 or 4/4 time, the tango was the first internationally popular Latin American dance. Quick surprising movements mixed with long, slow moves make the tango's unique style. The tango we know today is related to the the Argentine milonga and the Cuban habenena.
