Marijuana is the most often used illegal drug in the United States. It is a green or grayish mixture of dried, shredded flowers and leaves of the hemp plant (Cannabis sativa).
All forms of cannibis are mind-altering (psychoactive) drugs; they all contain THC (delta-9-tetrahyd ro cannabinol), the main active chemical in marijuana. There are about 400 chemicals in a cannabis plant, but THC is the one that affects the brain the most.
Marijuana has many nicknames.
What are the harmul effects? It can make you confused and/or forgetful. Also the dangers of smoking: Bronchitis and Lung Cancer. You also have the possibility of becoming mentally dependent on cannibis or Marijuana.
Marijuana (Cannabis) is a class B drug. That means that if you are caught in possession of this drug, you can get up to 5 years in prison and an unlimited fine. For supplying this drug, the maximum punishment is up to 14 years in prison and an unlimited fine.
