Cocaine
Cocaine is a drug extracted from
the leaves of the cocoa plant. It is a potent brain stimulant and
one of the most powerfully addictive drugs. Like any other drug,
if taken too much or too strong, or if your body can't handle it,
you have the possibility of dying, or severe brain damage.

- pupil dilation
- elevated blood pressure
- elevated heart rate
- increased body tempature
- irritation of the mucous
membrane of the nose
- increased risk of exposure to
AIDS, hepatitis and other diseases caused by injecting
cocaine with contaminated equipment
- insomnia
- loss of appetite
- paranoia
- seizures
- death by cardiac arrest or
respitory failure
- constricted peripheral blood
vessels
- feelings of restlessness,
irritability, and anxiety
- depression associated with
withdrawel
