Baby Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle
The coral reef is a
habitat for many varieties of marine life. Turtles are one of the
many extraordinary species that live in the coral reef. They are
reptiles that lay
eggs in the sand. The
coral reef provides the turtles with food, air, water, and a place
to live and not be disturbed by predators. Without the coral
reefs, turtles would probably be extinct because of all their
harmful predators. People, pollution, predators are the main
reasons why most turtles are endangered. There are several
endangered turtles that can be found in Hawai'i. The
Hawksbill
turtle and the very
famous Hawaiian
green sea
turtle are two
endangered turtles.
