In Hawaii's waters, the Spanish dancer is fascinating to watch because when it swims, it looks like a Spanish dancer with her long, flowing, twirling skirt and beautiful beads. Its colors are usually red and orange, but sometimes blue and purple. The dancer has a ring of feathery gills. This species can be seen in tide pools as well as deeper areas. It feeds on sponges and its average size is 23 cm.
