The squirrelfish (Sargocentron Xantherythrum) is popular in Hawaii's coral reef. This is a fish that is mostly seen by scuba divers. You can find it around caves and holes. The squirrel fish is a reddish color and it has dark eyes. Its size is up to 28 cm. It eats mainly large zooplankton. A few different types of squirrel fish are Tahitian or Blue Lined Squirrelfish, Long-jawed Squirrelfish. The Hawaiian Squirrelfish or Ala 'ihi is endemic to Hawaii.
