Joanne Kathleen Rowling , author of the award winning , very famous in the U.K. & the U.S., the most compelling book since 'Matilda', the one , the only HARRY POTTER series!
Now here are some, in the words of Fred Weasley, 'absolutely spiffing' facts.
*Rowling has a younger sister named Di.
*She always wanted a rabbit as a young girl & when she was 6 her 1st story was about one.
*Peers used to tease her about her last name, Rowling (Rolling pins).
*When she was young she had friends by the name of the Potters
which resulted to Harry's name because she liked it.
*She hated school and had a reason to.
*Her school teacher Mrs. Morgan seated her as far left possible
which she soon realized was the stupid side(I wonder what teacher in the book she is!).
*She soon however improved and always loved English.
*In her last year she was head girl of high school.
*She attended Exeter University in England her home land.
**Later she became a secretary but she hated it and only liked
to type stories in her extra time.
*When she was 26 she quit her job and became an English teacher .
