Father Serra
- Father Junipero Serra was a amazing
man. He is the one who started the missions. father Serra wanted
to make the missions because he wanted to teach the Roman Catholic
faith to the Indians. Father Serra had a dream that in every
city there would be a mission. He wanted
the
Roman Catholic religion to go on forever.

- 1750- In May Father Serra leaves
to teach the Pame indians the Roman Catholic religion. He was
then named "Father President"
- 1767- Father Serra left for Baja
California to start the foundation of missionarys.
- 1769- Father Serra founded his
first mission.
- 1784- Father Junipero Serra died
August 28 at the San Carlos de Moterey mission.
