Little People
World's Beginning
The  Three Worlds
The territory of the Cherokee land was more than 40,000 square miles.  Their land contained forests, rivers, valleys and mountains.  The Cherokee taught that mountains were part of the spiritual creatures. Some of the creatures were the Little Men who lived in caves.  They were helpful and friendly, but they were also mean, and made people lose their way and die of starvation.  The hunters in the mountains had to keep a lookout for them.
