Each team stands on opposing sides of the building where they are completely hidden from the opposing team. The starting team chooses a player to yell, "EEVY IVY OVER!" and throw the ball over the roof. The opposing team will retrieve the ball and return it in the same manner. The play continues until a player catches the ball coming off the roof and before it hits the ground.

When a ball is caught, the tag begins. All players of the receiving team begin to run around the building stirring up the players of the opposing team. At that time each member of the opposing team must run completely around the building without being tagged by the player with the ball. Any tagged player must then join the other team. That player continues the play by throwing the ball over the building once more.

To win: When the last member of a team is caught and everyone is on the same team, that team wins.

CAUTION: Watch out for hazards or dangers. You may have to clean up the surrounding area first, so that there are no hazards to trip over.
