1. Chose a person to be the "bear" and have some kind of base.
2. Have the person hide while the others count to twelve o'clock. (One O'Clock a Rock, Two O'Clock a Rock, Three O'Clock a Rock, . . . continue until Eleven O'Clock a Rock, Midnight!)
3. When through counting, players roam and chant "No bears are out tonight. Daddy shot them all last night."
4. When the players find the bear, they run to the base before it tags them .
5. Any person caught becomes a bear.  
6. Play continues until the last person is caught.
