The long-legged cellar spider, otherwise known as the granddaddy long leg, is one of the most common house spiders in the United States. As awkward and dangerous as it may look, the Long-Legged Cellar spider is completely harmless even though it is one of the most poisonous spiders in the entire world!

This spider spins its web in the far corner of any room, or house. When it spins its web, the threads of silk are very thin. Be careful because if you touch it while it's still on its web, the spider will swing back and forth on a tiny strand of silk.

The long-legged cellar spider has extremely long legs and a very tiny body. Its mouth is too small to bite any source of meat so it eats small plants and really small insects. With this discription you can't miss it when you see it!
